Sea FM 90.0 brekky host Ben Hannant just rowed a marathon

This morning at Tallebudgera Leisure and REC Centre, Sea FM 90.9 brekkie announcer and NRL legend Ben Hannant rowed a marathon by himself, all to help raise $100,000 for ten Gold Coast charities.

Ben and his brekkie co-host Bianca Dye were joined by Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate for a super session.

Ben and Bianca were supporting local Gold Coast company First Choice Solar in its Row for Life event to raise $100,000 for 10 Gold Coast charities, Rize Up, Serving Our People (SOP), Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, Preston Campbell, Gold Coast Community Fund, Arcadia College, White Cloud Foundation, Volunteering GC, Gold Coast Hospital Foundation and Global Awakening Fund.

Bianca and Ben also broadcast their brekkie show live from the event.

Ben’s goal is to raise $10,000 for the ten nominated charities so he called on the Gold Coast’s sporting, corporate and business communities to join in and show their support for the event to have a significant and positive impact across the region.
