Sea FM Free Petrol no drop in the Ocean

90.9 Sea FM will stage a ‘Free Fuel Friday’ tomorrow, as fuel prices hit the $1 a litre mark on the Gold and Tweed coasts.

On the back of rising interest rates and health insurance costs, Sea FM thinks rocketing fuel prices are the final straw.

Program Director, Jason Matthews, says: “How much more can we cop?

“We wanted to help ease the burden on families around the Gold and Tweed coasts and we’re very happy about giving something back.

“Hopefully, this will put a few bucks back in people’s pockets in the lead up to Easter.”

Sea FM is offering the first 100 cars from 7.30-8.30 tomorrow morning the chance to ‘fill ‘er for free’ – no strings attached – at IFS Ashmore.

The offer will then be followed up next Thursday (24 March) at IFS Robina.

During this survey time, rival Hot Tomato is also running a petrol competition in breakfast, offering a 30c saving on fuel and the chance to win 1000 litres of free fuel.
