Nova 100 Melbourne has signed up Secret Life of Us star, Samuel Johnson, to do afternoons.

PD Dan Bradley says the station has taken a deliberately low key approach to his appointment and is getting him on the air without any fanfare at this stage.

Johnson is known in the radio industry for his voice. He was one of the most highly sought after voiceover artists until he recently decided to give up that work. He also featured in an amusing women’s underwear tv commercial. His attraction for female listeners is high.

He starts on Monday (27 June).

Former afternoon presenter, Dave Williams, is moving to a weekend role on Nova and will also be helping with a couple of “build projects” for the new dmg 91.5 station.
