SEN’s AFL Nation line up for 2025 announced

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has announced their AFL Nation commentary team for the 2025 Premiership season with Stephen ‘Quarters’ Quartermain joining the network to broadcast Saturday afternoon games, plus other fixtures throughout the year.

SEN’s Thursday night coverage will feature Gerard Whateley and Dwayne Russell, while Friday nights will be led by Russell and Matt Hill. They’ll be joined by expert commentators, including Kane Cornes, Gerard Healy, Brad Johnson and former West Coast Eagles Premiership coach Adam Simpson.

Quarters said:

“I’m looking forward to getting back in the commentary box with the SEN family. 2025 promises to be another intriguing and unpredictable season, so it will be great to be part of it all again.”

Quarters has had a long relationship with SEN replacing Rex Hunt as a caller in 2017, back in the Crocmedia days. He was also part of the unashamedly biased Hawks Radio on SEN1116 alongside five-time Hawthorn Hawks premiership star Robert DiPierdomenico and die-hard Hawks fan and radio host Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehmann.

SEN CEO, Craig Hutchison, said:

“AFL Nation is the home of Australia’s most comprehensive and passionate AFL coverage, and 2025 is set to be our biggest season yet. The addition of Stephen Quartermain is significant for us, and we’re thrilled to have him join an already outstanding team of broadcasters. With some exciting announcements still to come, footy fans are in for a real treat in 2025.”

AFL Nation is syndicated to more than 60 radio stations across every capital city and throughout regional Australia. SEN Stadium additionally offers real-time, in-venue commentary for fans attending the games, and SEN Sync, allows for seamless synchronisation for those watching live on TV and listening to AFL Nation.
