SEN’s Blues Radio is back for the Carlton faithful

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has brought back Blues Radio, the unapologetically biased commentary for Carlton fans, ahead of their Friday night clash against arch-rivals (*whispers* and 2023 Premiership winners) Collingwood.

Two Carlton legends, Anthony Koutoufides and Ang Christou, join SEN’s resident Carlton tragic, Andy Maher, for the totally one-eyed call.

Last year the parochial commentary box rode an emotional rollercoaster of finals footy and created numerous viral and very funny moments including the below:

SEN’s technological upgrades will now provide the live call without delay on the new and improved SEN Stadium feature, available on the SEN App. By utilising their mobile network, supporters can access commentary seamlessly, eliminating the need for stadium WiFi. Fans watching from home can also now use SEN Sync, through the SEN App, perfectly synchronising the Blues Radio audio with their TV broadcast.

Anthony Koutoufides said:

“I’m absolutely pumped to be joining Blues Radio alongside Ang and Andy for this blockbuster clash against Collingwood. Throughout my playing career, I always got an extra surge of adrenaline whenever we faced the Pies, and I’m ready to bring that same energy and passion to the commentary box.

Whether you’re cheering at the ‘G or watching from home, this will be the only call you’ll want to hear if you’re an old, dark navy blue.”

Should I mention Carlton last won a title in 1995, and Collingwood are now tied with Essendon and Carlton with 16 premiership wins?

Probably not.
