SENZ is off and running in NZ

The wait is finally over as Sports Entertainment NetworkSENZ officially celebrated its first morning on air yesterday across New Zealand.
 
The new radio network kicked off with Baz and Izzy for Breakfast, featuring Brendon McCullum and Israel Dagg who scored an exclusive chat with their mate, New Zealand cricket captain Kane Williamson.
  
Legendary commentator Ian Smith then followed with his morning show,Mornings with Ian Smith where he was joined by his first guest, All Blacks Captain, Sam Cane.
  
SENZ has also announced additional weekend programming with The Saturday Session, which will be co-hosted by leading commentator Daniel McHardy and former New Zealand cricketer Grant Elliott, weekly from 10 am-1 pm. 
 
McHardy says, “I cannot wait to work alongside Grant and connect with passionate sports fans from around the country. It will be fun. Working with the guy they once called Superman will be easy right?”
  
The program will be produced by media personality Riccardo Ball, known for his laidback style, and being an all-round sports fanatic, who will not only work behind the scenes on The Saturday Session but will be hosting his own evening show Extra Time from 7pm each night.
 
McHardy will also lead the SENZ A-League commentary team for all Wellington Phoenix home matches.
 
SENZ  have acquired 28 TAB NZ AM/FM radio licenses across North and South Island regions.
