No one in the radio biz has spent more time with One Direction than Nova’s Smallzy.
One Direction have become regulars in the Surgery, since meeting Smallzy in 2011. Across the last 4 years Smallzy has been there during their rise to fame, successful album releases and more recently their changes to the group. All the loyalty and hard work has now been rewarded with the band giving him an exclusive for Australian radio ahead of their highly anticipated new album release.
All he has to do is travel to London to pick up his prize. Tough gig.
In a huge week of shows from the UK, Smallzy will be joined live in studio by an array of special guests including Olly Murs, The 1975 and Little Mix throughout the week.
One of the hottest groups in the world, One Direction are set to release their fifth studio album Made in the A.M. on November 13. The first single from the new album Drag Me Down, released in July, went straight to number 1 on iTunes around the world.
Smallzy (left) travels all over the world to cover all the biggest music events for his listeners, from the MTV European Music Awards in Glasgow to the Summertime Ball in London and the Grammy’s in LA.
In their twelfth trip to the UK, Smallzy’s Surgery will be broadcasting live from London every night this week from 7.00pm – 10.00pm on the Nova Network.
