They sure know how to stretch a dollar over at ARN. No doubt with the aid of modern technology, Mix 106.5’s big ticket breakfast duo, Sonia Kruger & Todd McKenney are now doing a drive time show too, starting at 6pm.

To kick start the new show called “The Drive Home with Sonia Kruger & Todd McKenney,” Kruger will feature part one of her exclusive interview with Madonna along with the pop diva’s new single ‘4 Minutes’.

Kruger interviewed Madonna last month at the Four Season’s Hotel in Los Angeles. Immediately following the interview, Madonna’s long time publicist and friend Liz Rosenberg said of Sonia’s interview: “It was phenomenal…the greatest interview of the century!”

Speaking of saving dollars, the main architect of ARN’s tight fiscal policy, chief beancounter, John Hamilton who was already a veteran employee of Wesgo before it was taken over by ARN, was spotted in Canberra on the weekend as a VIP guest at Skyfire hosted by the local duopoly Mix 106.3 and FM104.7 FM.

Half of Canberra turned out to line the shores of Lake Burley Griffin on the balmy Satruday night as the annual event thrilled the crowd with fireworks and music.
