He is the longest running announcer on-air in South Australia’s South East but on July 31st Stan Thomson‘s run will come to an end.

The ABC announcer dubbed the ‘gentleman of radio” has announced his retirement after 27 years as the voice on the Limestone Coast.

“I will grieve and I will miss it like hell…but change is good”.
