Sunshine Coast Mix FM $5,000 Secret Sound no longer a secret

The phrase, ‘not my cup of tea’ could not be further from the truth for Michael Kiss of Buderim. ‘Is it pulling the little jiggler tag off a tea bag’ was an original guess and one that made the 44-year-old, Tiny Tanker’s worker $5,000 richer.

Michael was the last caller through to guess the Secret Sound with Mark and Caroline.

Three weeks ago Mix FM raised the bounty on the Secret Sound to $5,000 and ran the competition across the workday giving listeners the chance to win 10 times a day.

Programme Director, Ross Turner told radioinfo at the time: ‘We’re not going to quit until someone guesses it right.’

The last time Mix FM gave away a jackpot Secret Sound was October 2005 when Sherrie Stone from Coolum won $10,000 guessing ‘a car aerial going up’.

Michael Kiss will be presented with a cheque today (Monday) at 11am.
