Mix poaches rival breakfast show, big pay packet rumoured.

Sunshine Coast Broadcasters has announced that Hot 91 breakfast duo Todd and Sami will be joining the team at 92.7 Mix FM in a new drive show.

92.7 Mix FM’s Breakfast Team, Mark and Caroline, are welcoming their former rivals Todd and Sami, to add to Mix FM’s line up, giving Mix the advantage of the only station on the Sunshine Coast offering a full local line-up across the day.

After 8 years of early morning starts for Todd and Sami the desire to have a sleep in has won out, with the duo looking forward to spending more time with their young families now that they have been poached by the rival network, owned by Glenn Wheatley’s EON Broadcasters.

The new Mix FM Drive Show with Todd and Sami will join Mark and Caroline for Breakfast, with other shifts in the line up being Lyndon on Mornings and Tim in the Afternoon.

Rumours doing the rounds in the Sunshine Coast market suggest that the duo was lured by a big pay packet, somewhere around $300,000.
