Digital Radio disrupted in Survey 6

There were two new DAB+ ratings stations in radio survey 6.

Disrupt Radio debuted in three digital markets and religious station Radio Maria launched two stations, an English and an Italian language Catholic station.

In Sydney, Disrupt Radio gathered a weekly audience (cume) of 9,000 people with listeners to its breakfast and daytime shifts but no audience in evenings and weekends. In Melbourne the station had 12,000 weekly listeners and in Brisbane there were 3,000 listeners.

Radio Maria launched in Sydney and Melbourne, scoring 9,000 listeners in Melbourne on both frequencies and 4,000 listeners to the Italian service in Sydney and none on then Elglish language frequency.

The top station in Sydney was CADA, slightly down on its last survey, with 151,000 listeners. In Melbourne CADA had 40,000 listeners, in Brisbane 16,000, Adelaide 8,000 and Perth 4,000 listeners (cume).

In Melbourne, smooth relax was top station with 130,000 listeners. Gold 80s and KIIS 90s were second in Melbourne with 126,000 listeners.
