There were two new DAB+ ratings stations in radio survey 6.
Disrupt Radio debuted in three digital markets and religious station Radio Maria launched two stations, an English and an Italian language Catholic station.
In Sydney, Disrupt Radio gathered a weekly audience (cume) of 9,000 people with listeners to its breakfast and daytime shifts but no audience in evenings and weekends. In Melbourne the station had 12,000 weekly listeners and in Brisbane there were 3,000 listeners.
Radio Maria launched in Sydney and Melbourne, scoring 9,000 listeners in Melbourne on both frequencies and 4,000 listeners to the Italian service in Sydney and none on then Elglish language frequency.
The top station in Sydney was CADA, slightly down on its last survey, with 151,000 listeners. In Melbourne CADA had 40,000 listeners, in Brisbane 16,000, Adelaide 8,000 and Perth 4,000 listeners (cume).
In Melbourne, smooth relax was top station with 130,000 listeners. Gold 80s and KIIS 90s were second in Melbourne with 126,000 listeners.

Remarks:
* generally, across the markets, music from the markets tend to be: 80s, 90s, relaxing (smooth), r&b/dance (cada) and a contemporary spiced with dance and oldies (coles). They rated in ths 3 digits
* abc sport was the only spoken word chann with a 3 digit audience.
* radio Maria has been on air in English since July 2022. Low audiences numbers suggest that the audience is not interested in spiritual matters. No comment on content.
* similarly disrupt radio has an audience in low numbers. You'd think that people would be interested in setting up a business. No comment on content.
* like the superradionetwork's 2SM which does not take part in the ratings, their DAB+ stations are not part of the ratings. They play similar music to the dance music stations. Alot of times they have been playing Marcel Marceau's greatest hits.
* there is an online news talk station "TNT live". An hour of program content is 80MB. 10 hours is 800MB. 24 hours is 2GB. A week is 14GB. 56GB is consumed in a month. It would be great if tnt live had a DAB+ channel.
