Sydney’s 2CH remembers Glen Campbell

When you have been on-air as long as Sydney’s 2CH Bob Rogers, you interview a lot of famous people.

With the sad passing of Glen Campbell this week, Bob replayed one of the last Australian live interviews with Glen, while he was touring in February 2008.

On reflection, sadly the effects of the disease that contributed to his death, Alzheimer’s disease may have been present.

“It was a real honour to have Glen Campbell in the 2CH studio in 2008 and despite his health at the time, when he picked up his guitar to play, live on-air, his fingers were magical to watch and he didn’t miss a beat. He will leave an enormous amount of brilliant work for us to enjoy but will be profoundly missed”, said Bob Rogers, Sydney’s 2CH Morning Announcer.
