Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren talked to Adrian Portelli after the billionaire bought every house up for auction on The Block last night admitting he selected the winners.

It was a great night for The Block contestants with them all making a profit, with sisters Maddy and Charlotte the overall winners of the $100K prize and $1.65m profit.
Adrian told Jase and Lauren: And then we just, you know, hand selected the auction order make sure the girls went last. So we can get them to win.
Lauren: So you did do that. I thought that was your idea! Because why did you want them to win? Because you paid the most money for theirs.
Adrian: It’s the girls. They cared. They came in late. They were the underdogs. They were picked on. They were bullied.
Clint Stanaway: You thought they were hard done by right?
Adrian: They, of course they were. They were and and my partner loves the show, and they were her favorite as well.
The Grand Final dominated last night’s viewing on Nine with a national total TV Reach of 3.412 million, a Total TV National Audience of 2.110 million. This season of The Block starts airing in NZ on Sunday 24 November on ThreeNow, and Three.
