ARN have fast-tracked the launch of The Long Weekend with Karl Stefanovic and Eddie McGuire to this Friday, June 12, the day after the release of GfK Radio 360 Survey 3.

There are two additions to the roster as we knew it. Journalist, TV presenter and podcaster Georgia Love (pictured main) joins the show as newsreader and Sacha French has been appointed Executive Producer. Sacha is also producer for The Buck Up podcast with Kate Langbroek and Nath Valvo. They join show anchor Toni Tenaglia (below), who hosts GOLD Network Afternoons.

The launch is one week earlier than originally announced. Karl Stefanovic and Eddie McGuire bringing together two of Australia’s most influential names in media alongside the stories shaping the week, big-name guests, great music and no-holds-barred discussion setting the tone for the weekend ahead.

Eddie McGuire said:

“We couldn’t wait to get started. Karl and I have been talking about this for years, and once everything came together, it just felt right to bring it forward. We’re ready to go and we’re going to have a lot of fun with it.”

The show runs concurrently with Karl and Eddie’s podcast projects – The independent Karl Stefanovic Show and Tapt Podcasts‘ Eddie and Jimmy both have thrice weekly episodes.

The Long Weekend will launch at midday on Friday, June 12 and will broadcast live on the GOLD Network, stream live and on demand on iHeart, extend across social platforms, and be available on 9Now and Stan, alongside global distribution via the iHeart network with Chemist Warehouse the launch partner.
