while they may not have breached any privacy provisions - they have made a nuisance phone call - and impersonated other people in so doing - I'm sure there's a law that says you cant do that???

There's no harm with a phone call - and security at the hospital should be to blame with this one.. Surely there'd be more people trying to call the hospital to get info..
Well done to Mel and MC - it was definitely a bit of fun, but off with her head for the stupid nurse who fell for it; I am pretty sure that she will be hauled over the coals and probably lose her job, how could she be so daft?
How on earth could anyone make a call for "the Brits [to] lighten up"? Just one of the consequences of this prank so far is the tragic death of a nurse. Could there be more such tragic circumstances? Yes there could. At the very, very least this prank has proven to be irresponsible.
