After the Hit Network‘s Tommy Little got resoundingly roasted by his on air colleague Carrie Bickmore, and more, at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival last year, this time it’s Carrie’s turn to be in the hot seat.
The Roast of Carrie Bickmore will feature Tommy as ‘Roast Master’, alongside other comedians who will not spare Carrie any mercy. The full lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Roast of Tommy Little last year, which you can watch Carrie introduce below, earned an ACRA nomination and impressive engagement across social media.
Tommy’s career, work ethic and personal life were all on the chopping block. Now, with Carrie having won a Gold Logie and her decades in media, what will Tommy and friends serve up to her?
Carrie admits she’s worried:
“I’ve seen the list of some of the people that are going to roast me but now I’m a little bit nervous. This is the first time I’ve ever been roasted. Boy, I enjoyed roasting you (Tommy), but (would) I have gone so hard if I knew I was going to be this year? (laughs) Of course I would, I loved it!”
