KIIS 1065 Sydney (Social Distancing), Nova 91.9 (Barbershop Roulette with Ben & Liam) and the Ace Radio Network (Covid Cup) have been nominated for The Coronavirus Radio Ideas Awards.
Online voting is now open for the awards organised by Benztown, P1 Media Group, Global Radio Ideas Facebook Group, Radiodays Europe, Radiodays Asia and RDE Podcast Day.
The awards will showcase world’s best radio ideas during the COVID-19 pandemic and will be presented at Radiodays Europe Conference in Lisbon, Portugal, on December 14, 2020.
Radio and Podcast pros who vote in all categories between today and September 17th are eligible to win one of five free registrations to their choice of Radiodays Europe, Radiodays Asia or RDE Podcast Day 2021
The nominees were selected from more than 300 ideas nominated by industry professionals around the world.
The Coronavirus Radio Ideas Awards will recognize the best ideas in 10 categories, including: Best Social Media Video Content, Best Virtual Event, Best Parody, Best Virtual Concert, Best On-Air Promo, Best Community Service, Best Social Media Visual, Best Community Spirit, Best Sales Promotion and Best Mega Promotion.
A further two categories, Best Podcast and Best Journalistic Content, will also be part of the awards and nominations for these two special categories can be submitted to the Facebook page #Coronavirusradioideas closing date 7th September.
