Three groups now sharing air time on Hawkesbury TCBL

The vacant Hawkesbury frequency on 89.8 will now be shared between three aspirant groups.

 
Windsor-Hawkesbury Community Radio is the latest be added to the roster of broadcasters vying for the licence.

Readers will remember that Hawkesbury Radio lost its full time licence, and then applied for a temporary licence, with the intention of reapplying for the licence again when it becomes available for allocation.

Rival group Hawkesbury Gold was also allocated a TCBL test licence, and the two groups have been sharing air time half a week each for the past few weeks.

Now a third player, Windsor Hawkesbury Community Radio (CAMS) has been granted a Temporary Community Broadcasting Licence,

Hawkesbury Radio will now be on air from 12pm Thursday until 12pm Sunday each week.

Hawkesbury Gold will broadcast from 12pm Tuesday until 12pm Thursday each week.

Windsor-Hawkesbury Community Radio will broadcast from 12pm Sunday until 12pm Tuesday each week. 

The arrangement will continue for 6 months.
