This year’s Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) conference has three streams structured to cater for whether you’re new to community broadcasting or a seasoned professional.
These are:
- Foundations of Broadcasting: Hosted by the Community Media Training Organisation (CMTO). Ideal for newcomers this stream covering the essentials from technology to program planning.
- Content of Broadcasting: A deeper dive into what makes great radio – news, music, and more.
- Business of Broadcasting: Knowledge around fundraising, AI and online promotion.
To be part of these foundational sessions you can register for the conference here. There are additional savings on registration until September 15.
Key note speakers for this event celebrating 50 years of community radio are Valerie Geller and Shane Fitzsimmons AO AFSM.
The Industry’s night of nights, the CBAA Awards ceremony will be held on October 19. The full conference runs from October 17-19 on the Queensland Gold Coast.
