The ABC has announce three more senior audio appointments for its Content division: Mike Fitzpatrick, Phoebe Bennett and Beverley Wang. Fitzpatrick becomes the new Head of Capital City Network and Sport, reporting to Head of Audio Content, Ben Latimer. Bennett moves from Double J Executive Producer to Content Director for triple j and Double J. Beverley Wang, who hosts Stop Everything! and Life Matters for Radio National also becomes the ABC’s first National Culture Correspondent.
Mike Fitzpatrick (pictured) was previously with the Triple M network and was Head of Digital Sport for Southern Cross Austereo’s LiSTNR platform, leading the content side of the network’s digital audio transition.
Phoebe Bennett has worked in radio and podcasts in Australia and the UK for the last decade. As EP at Double J, Phoebe was responsible for bringing across the Take 5 with Zan Rowe podcast to ABC TV.
Beverley Wang will combine her pop culture knowledge with her experience in journalism and broadcasting to provide analysis and commentary across all ABC platforms, while continuing to host her RN and ABC Listen programs

Bennett’s new role has commenced, Wang in the coming weeks and Fitzpatrick joins the ABC February 12. Further senior ABC audio appointments will also be announced in the next few months.
