Tim’s beer goes national

It’s something any red blooded Aussie would love.
Their very own beer – named after them.

Well it’s happened for Tim Blackwell from Nova’s Kate, Tim & Marty national drive show.

As a part of Good Beer Week last year, 4 Pines Brewery enlisted Tim to create his own beer using some of his favourite ingredients.

They only produced a few kegs of the light bodied lager with a natural cherry infusion, spiced with vanilla, cocoa and cinnamon.

Demand for the brew was so great that 4 Pines decided to produce another batch and make it available to beer fans Australia wide.

Tim Blackwell said, “I was stoked the guys at 4 Pines let me back to brew another beer with them, let alone allowing me to make 50,000 litres worth at their new brewery! We’ve produced 5 litre kegs so more people will be able to sample it this time around – and I believe we’ve created a much more ‘sessionable’ beer than my Cherry Pie attempt! Even if you can’t make it to the launch, you can whack some of my Summer Pie in the fridge at home!”

Nova’s Kate, Tim & Marty will launch Tim’s Summer Pie beer at a listener party at 4 Pines brewery in Sydney on Wednesday night.

The beer will be available via the on-line site Beer Cartel http://www.beercartel.com.au/Tims-Summer-Pie from Wednesday so fans around Australia have the opportunity to try Tim’s Summer Pie beer.
