Following the announcement last week that Townsville local Cassandra Cazzulino had been appointed General Manager of Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) in the North Queensland capital, experienced media operator Shane Jurgens has been named of Head of Sales.
 
Shane Jurgens will take on the role of Head of Sales, Townsville officially starting on May 1.

SCA Executive General Manager, Queensland, Damon Rielly says:
 
“Shane is currently General Sales Manager of the Townsville team and will now take on the added responsibility of being responsible for the strategic growth in revenue for both Townsville and Mt Isa markets, leading the operations of Townsville’s two leading stations in Hit103.1FM and Triple M 102.3FM, as well as SCA’s Channel 9 sales affiliation.”
