Triple M Bundy’s Christmas Crusade supports hundreds of local families with toys

Triple M Bundy 93.1 have raised more than $12,000 to get Christmas toys for Bundaberg families doing it tough. An additional $4,000 worth of toys were donated by the community, exceeding the $15K set at the start of the crusade.

Breakfast hosts Jacob & El got to run through Toyworld to buy the presents for kids that will be donated to The Angels Community Group, a Bundaberg organisation supporting vulnerable families.

The team broadcast live from Toyworld, joined by Bundaberg Chief Inspector Grant Marcus and Federal Member for Hinkler, David Batt MP with a sausage sizzle and plenty of locals out to support the event.

Last year’s crusade reached more than 300 local families. With more donations still rolling in, the Christmas spirit is well and truly alive in Bundy.

Jacob & El on Bundy’s 93.1 Triple M Breakfast can be heard from 6-9am weekdays and also on LiSTNR.
