Triple M Footy’s kicks off its 12th straight season

The network dives into Round 1 tomorrow. 


Triple M Footy kicks off for the 12th straight season with Round 1 of the 2018 NRL season tomorrow, as the largest commercial radio broadcaster of the NRL in Australia.

The network’s NRL team will bring footy fans the coverage on-air, online at triplem.com.au and via the Triple M footy app.

Mark Geyer returns to the roster full-time to head up the coverage and is joined by some of the best in the business; Peter Sterling, Gorden Tallis, Wendell Sailor, Ryan
Girder, Tony Squires,Jamie Soward, Dan Ginnane, Anthony Maroon, Paul Kent, Bill Harrigan, Emma Lawrence, James Hooper
Brent Read, and Ben Dobbin.

Based on data from Survey 6, 2017, Triple M NRL reached more NRL listeners than any other broadcast, with 252,000 listeners in Sydney and 162,000 in Brisbane each weekend. For males 25-54, the network nabbed an audience share of 10.3% in Sydney and 25.3% in Brisbane (People 10+).
