Triple M Newcastle’s Tanya and Steve heading back to school

Once a month throughout 2020 Tanya and Steve from Triple M Newcastle are going back to school.
 

When the duo heard about the alarming amount of children going without a morning meal they made the decision to broadcast from local schools and feed kids breakfast.

Tanya said: “Kids need fuel for school and there’s a whole bunch of them, for different reasons, turning up hungry not having eaten breakfast. So we’re helping with that throughout 2020 by going back to school with our Tanya & Steve Tuckshop.”
 
Tanya & Steve’s first tuckshop broadcast is on Friday, 6 March.
