Triple R kicks off ‘April Amnesty’ subscription drive

This April, EXEK, The Exploding Universe of Ed Kuepper, Grace Cummings, Mildlife and POOKIE will perform Live at RRR, to support the station’s April Amnesty subscription and donation drive.

Anyone who subscribes to Triple R during April will enter the draw to win prizes. Plus, Triple R subscribers will have the chance to attend exclusive gigs in the Triple R Performance Space.

Local sextet EXEK returns to the Performance Space on Friday 5 April, hosted by Joe Brnadic of Astral Glamour. The band will play tracks from their sixth studio album – and former Triple R Album of the Week – The Map and The Territory.

On Monday 8 April, Triple R hosts a rare live performance from The Exploding Universe of Ed Kuepper, performing classic tracks from one the most storied back catalogues in Australian music history, and hosted by Neil Rogers of The Australian Mood.

On Friday 12 April, there will be a live set from Grace Cummings, who’ll perform songs from her new album Ramona, hosted by Clara Slewa of Velvet Haze.

Then on Friday 19 April, Triple R subscribers will be treated to a cosmic set from Melbourne’s Mildlife, hosted by John Bailey of Stolen Moments – playing songs from Chorus, their recent Triple R Album of the Week.

Finally on Friday 26 April, POOKIE, the dynamic Boorloo/Perth-based producer, songwriter, composer, DJ, and MC will perform, hosted by Bumpy and Emmy of Pebbles.

April Amnesty performances are available for Triple R subscribers only – anyone who subscribes by 11:59pm Tuesday 30 April will also automatically be enterted in the prizes draw, which includes a 10-day trip to Vietnam, festival passes, handmade furniture, wireless earbuds, wine packs, vouchers, a laptop and more.

Anyone can subscribe and donate during April via the Triple R website: rrr.org.au
