It’s been a long time since John Laws took a call from a desperate person intent on suicide or homicide or both. Laws tries to placate the man.
Update: At about 11:30am, a couple of hours after the call to Laws, police from Richmond Local Area Command arrested a 48-year-old man at a Chilcotts Grass residence. He was taken back to Lismore Police Station and charged with using a carriage service to cause serious harm.
