US internet radio listening tops 1 million

In the US, online radio listening has topped one million people during the daytime.

The Centre for Media Research has reported that listening to the online radio networks measured by comScore Arbitron during March “peaked during midday, the heart of the working day, with 1,036,800 people age 12 and older listening during an Average Quarter-Hour Monday-Friday 10AM-3PM.”

The March report of the Online Radio Ratings service rates AOL, Yahoo!, MSN Radio and WindowsMedia, and Live365 during an average broadcast week in the month of March.
