UTV Radio’s Ian Walker joins Absolute Radio

After two highly successful years re-launching UTV owned station Q102 in Dublin,
Australian Programme Director Ian Walker will join Absolute Radio’s team as a Senior Vice President for Programming and Operations.

Absolute Radio’s Programme and Operations Director Clive Dickens has told radioinfo:

“Ian is an incredibly talented programmer and manager and with increased
demand from AR clients and partners for even more strategic insights coupled
with operational expertise he will make a strong addition to the company.”

Australian born Walker has worked in senior radio management roles in the UK,
Australia and Continental Europe for over 15 years and recently lead and oversaw
an 85% increase in audience at Dublin’s Q102,

Walker says he is delighted to be joining AR and working alongside some of the most dynamic
and talented people in radio today.
