Vale Heidi Pasqual

Heidi was part of the Back to Funk team from the early 80s to 2004 alongside Peter Pasqual, Tim Ritchie, and Gordon “Gman” Henderson. She sharp, warm and authentic with a memorable laugh.

An in demand deejay in Sydney, in a time where female vinyl deejays were rare, Heidi also co-owned the Creative Vibes record label, which supported local Dance, Electronic, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Jazz as well as World Music and more. Heidi also formed the world’s first female-only Hip Hop label called Mother Tongues.
