Former sales and radio station manager John Cahill died last week.

After undertaking a three month course with Bryson Taylor, John started his first radio job at 2LT Lithgow during World War 2. He worked at 2PK Parkes, 2RG Griffith, 2DU Dubbo, 2SM Sydney, 4BH Brisbane, 2DU (this time as Station Manager), Macquarie Sales in Sydney, and 2GB as Sales Manager.

Later John managed the Radio advertising budget for the NSW Government.
