Former 4BH News Director and Breakfast news reader Suzanne Irvine passed away last Wednesday, after a short battle with Brain Cancer.

The Cancer caused a tumour which paralyzed her left side since January this year. However, the Cancer was first diagnosed in October last year.

Suzanne fought the Cancer and even went back to work in Cairns for a short while, until the relapse in January.

Her service was held today (Wed April 15, 2009) mostly involved family, but also involved messages from former radio colleagues who worked with her at 4BH.

Her sister Narelle said, “It is so warming to know there were so many people who worked with her in radio, who were touched by her and who remembered her fondly.”
