Well known Central Victorian journalist and broadcaster Wayne Gregson has passed away in Bendigo following a five-month battle with cancer.
 
The 64-year-old was a Walkley Award winner, and an editor and reporter for the Bendigo Advertiser.
 
His career also took him from Mildura to The Courier in Ballarat, ABC radio and television in Hobart, Tasmania.
 
Wayne worked with 3BO, and most recently with Bruce Lees on the Wake Up Call with Gregson & Lees on Bendigo’s GOLD FM
