Voting open for triple j’s Hottest 100

Voting is now open for triple j’s Hottest 100 

Every year the station asks for listeners favourite tunes, culminating in a massive party on Australia Day to count down the 100 biggest songs of the year.

Recent years have seen Chet Faker’s ‘Talk Is Cheap’ (2014), Vance Joy’s ‘Riptide’ (2013), Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ ‘Thriftshop’ (2012) and Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ (2011) top the poll and, along with your 99 other favourite songs, mark a distinct moment in time. 

By voting you could win triple j’s Golden Ticket, which gets you and a friend into every single triple j supported gig in 2016, including Laneway FestivalSplendour In The GrassGroovin The MooFalls FestivalCHVRCHESKendrick LamarThe JezabelsA$AP RockyGrimesHilltop Hoods, Gang of Youths and a lot more.

Hottest 100 voting is open until midday AEDT Friday 22 January. 

Through the Hottest 100 you can be a part of closing the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. 

triple j has teamed up with AIME, a fantastic mentoring program supporting Indigenous kids through high school and into university, training and employment at the same rate as every Australian child – effectively closing the gap.

Through the Hottest 100, there’s an option to make a donation to AIME after voting,  by rocking an exclusive AIME x triple j tee or raise money at your Hottest 100 party.

Donations will help 10,000 Indigenous kids by 2018.
