Voting opens December 12 for 2023’s triple j Hottest 100

Voting for triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2023 opens on at 8am next Tuesday December 12, with the countdown on Saturday January 27, 2024.

A Hottest 100 design competition was launched earlier this year, giving people the chance to create the official artwork for this Hottest 100. Nat Welsh was the winner with her multidimensional dreamscape (pictured).

This is the 30th year of triple j’s listener voted countdown. After the Hottest 100 on the 27th, Sunday, 28 January will feature the Hottest 200 (200-101) and all the songs that just missed the final cut.

Then, on Saturday Feb 3, Double J celebrates the Hottest 100 of 2003.

Hottest 100 of 2023 dates:

  • Tuesday, 12 December, 8am AEDT: Voting Opens
  • Monday, 22 January, 5pm AEDT: Voting Closes
  • Saturday, 27 January, 12pm AEDT: triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2023
  • Sunday, 28 January, 10am: triple j’s Hottest 200-101 of 2023
  • Saturday, 3 February, 10am: Double J’s Hottest 100 of 2003
