The broadcaster is looking for the next regional town to visit. 

Triple j’s One Night Stand concert series has taken Australian music to parts of Australia that don’t often get the big live music experience.

Previous years have featured incredible artists like Tash Sultana, Alison Wonderland, Flume, Violent Soho, A.B. Original, Illy, Hilltop Hoods, San Cisco, RÜFÜS, The Rubens, The Jezabels, The Jungle Giants, The Smith Street Band, Dan Sultan, Silverchair, and Birds of Tokyo. 

The station has travelled all over the country, including Mount Isa QLD (2017), Geraldton WA (2016), Mildura VIC (2014), Dubbo NSW (2013), DalbyQLD (2012), Tumby Bay SA (2011), Alice Springs NT (2010), Sale VIC (2009), CollieWA (2008), Cowra NSW (2007), Port Pirie SA (2006), Ayr QLD (2005) and Natimuk VIC (2004).

For a chance to host triple j’s One Night Stand, listeners can tell them about their town and why the event will make a difference to the local community. 

Applications close on Wed 21 March and triple j will get in touch with shortlisted towns in April.

Note that to share the love around, triple j probably won’t go to a town close to one visited recently.
