When does TSL really happen?

President of ACC Consulting & Marketing International, Tom Watson, will shed light on how listeners use radio, regardless of format, on a daily basis at the upcoming National Radio Conference.

His presentation, titled When does TSL (Time Spent Listening) really happen?  will aim to debunk some of the myths of how listeners fill out their ratings survey, with the intention of helping radio makers program each hour for maximum credit in the ratings survey.
 
The international speaker has a unique perspective into the Australian radio landscape, having spent six years with the Australian Radio Network (ARN) in Melbourne and Sydney. For over 25 years, Tom Watson has consulted to radio stations all over the world, in Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Dublin, Hong Kong, Miami, Seattle, Honolulu, New Orleans and other American markets.
 
He has programmed stations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Washington D.C., Dallas, and Denver, taking all stations to #1 in their target demos.
 
Previously announced conference speakers include: online video sensation Natalie Tran, Today Network Drive host Jules Lund, Naked Communications’ Adam Ferrier, the man behind Hamish & Andy, Sam Cavanagh, 2014 radio ratings provider, GfK, plus leading radioinfo sales trainer, Pat Bryson.
 
The National Radio Conference will be held for the first time in Brisbane at the Royal International Convention Centre on 11 October 2013.
