Whooshkaa have released an upgrade to their Forever Free plan and have also launched a new paid Pro Plan.
Forever Free new features include Transcripts, a free automated transcription of up to 1 hour of audio per month than can be saved, edited and downloaded from the Transcripts tab in the Whooshkaa dashboard.
Dynamic Content Insertion will allow podcasters to monetise their content with relevant ad campaigns targeted by listener location and gender, and will also allow cross promotion or announcements into any episode of any show podcasters host on Whooshkaa.
Dynamic content insertion is found via the Campaigns tab in the Whooshkaa Dashboard and they’ve even prepared some documentation to help you get started.

Forever Free now adds Media Library with 5GB of free storage that can be used it to store video and audio files eg. ad reads to use with dynamic content insertion.
Media Library is in addition to the unlimited podcast episode storage.
Transcripts, Dynamic Content Insertion and Media Library will be available for all customers across the week.
