Wil Anderson and Adam Spencer announce a triple j reunion tour

Wil Anderson, who is currently a caretaker breakfast co-host for Triple M Melbourne, and Adam Spencer, now the author of many books and still a contributor to the ABC, are reuniting for a tour reminiscing about the days when they ruled the airwaves on triple j breakfast. The question on all fishcore fans lips is, will they be supported by Salmon Hater?

The tour called The First Time (In A Long Time) will mark 20 years since Adam & Wil on triple j and will visit Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Wollongong and Newcastle between October and December this year.

There will be yarns about what they can remember from that time including The Stink, Tripod, Buffy the Vampire Slayer ‘Sorry Matt Hayden’, the song apologising for trash-talking the Australian cricket legend as Salmon Hater.

Wil said:

“Working with Adam on triple j in the early 2000s are some of my fondest memories and that is just the stuff I can remember. I can’t wait to be back onstage with Adam talking about the old days, and hopefully he can fill in some gaps for me.”

Adam added, sincerely:

“Join us as we relive the memories. In fact, feel free to prompt our memories and we will take it from there.”

Adam & Wil will join Dylan Lewis on Double J Mornings tomorrow, Tuesday 27 August from 9am, to discuss the tour and reminisce, with tickets on sale this Thursday August 29. The dates are below.
