Will and Woody take the wheel in Hughesy and Kate drive slot

With Dave Hughes and Kate Langbroek having vacated ARN’s drivetime slot, the big opening left behind by the pair is set to be filled by WA’s Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw.

As part of Perth’s Hit 92.9 breakfast show, ‘Heidi, Will and Woody’, the duo were no strangers to early morning radio. Will and Woody started broadcasting in 2012 and were heard nationally on 2Day FM weekend breakfast, whilst also filling in across the Hit Network throughout 2013.

Along with commercial radio they have had comedic success, regularly performing in live sketch shows. In 2015, their comedy sketch show “The Naked Truth” was a sell out at both the Perth Fringe Festival and the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

The ‘Heidi, Will and Woody’ Hit 92.9 breakfast show (it was revealed in August that the trio, who had been working together since August, would split) has averaged a 10.3% breakfast audience share, up almost every survey this year. However, in the most recent survey the show fell 1.9 ratings points to 9.3%.
