“You need to leave” – Hughesy sets the record straight on Fringe Festival incident with Carrie & Tommy

Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes joined Carrie & Tommy on SCA’s Hit Network today and opened up about an incident during his Adelaide Fringe Festival show last Friday night, where he booted a group of women out of the audience for “incessant talking.”

The former radio host proceeded to set the record straight following a viral video from his stand-up comedy show which made headlines over the weekend.

“So this is how you chose to celebrate International Women’s Day?” Tommy said to Hughesy.

Hughesy replied:

“No, I need to get this clear!”

They also discussed Hughesy’s his appearance on ABC TV’s Australian Story which airs tonight.
