After 21 years on Geelong’s 93.9 BayFM, Breakfast Anchor Laurie Atlas has decided to make a move to the warmth of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The 49 year old presenter has been a part of BayFM’s line up since it launched in 1990 and together with Paula Kontelj has provided Geelong residents with a local breakfast show for the past 12 years.
BayFM General Manager Dean Anglin said: “Laurie has been a wonderful part of Geelong radio for many years, and we wish him the very best as he starts this new chapter of his life… Paula remains committed to BayFM and is looking forward to the challenge of working with a new Breakfast Anchor. We hope to be in a position soon to announce the new line up for BayFM.”
