Darcy Franklin is departing Amplify CBR and his news roles for Hit104.7 and Mix106.3.

“Beyond learning how to write and present clearly under pressure, I’ve gained a deep understanding of what it takes to keep a community informed in real time. I’ve developed skills in interviewing, live reporting, and distilling complex issues into stories that are accurate, accessible, and engaging. More than anything, I’ve come to appreciate the responsibility that comes with journalism; its role in shaping conversations, building trust, and giving a voice to stories that matter.
Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working with and learning from some truly amazing professionals. Their mentorship, support, and example have shaped not just my approach to journalism, but my broader outlook on what it means to work in media with integrity and purpose.”
