Former 2LF and 2WG news editor, ABC rural reporter, inaugural ABC Radio Riverina regional program manager, and 2AAA Chairman, Jim Booth, has just commenced as Regional Manager for the Cancer Council of NSW for North West NSW, based in Tamworth. Jim and his family have lived in Tamworth for ten years after a stint in politics (after radio) in Wagga Wagga. He still runs electronic media for the annual Henty Machinery Field Days in southern NSW each September.
