Former immigration minister and ambassador to Italy, Amanda Vanstone, will join a distinguished list of guest presenters for a revamped Counterpoint program on Radio National following the resignation of both co-hosts, Michael Duffy (last month) and Paul Comrie-Thompson (on Monday). It was rumoured that Counterpoint, which is RN’s flagship conservative program would be axed entirely, but Station Manager, Michael Mason scotched that idea with Ms Vanstone confirming her acceptance, “I can assure Radio National listeners they won?t be disappointed! I?m really looking forward to speaking my mind and ruffling a few feathers.”
