John Campbell will return to RNZ and join Ingrid Hipkiss as the new co-host of Morning Report.
John said he’d listened to Morning Report since it began and had missed the urgency of broadcast journalism since he had stepped away after two decades hosting shows like 3 News, Campbell Live and Checkpoint.
The appointment is part of RNZ’s dedicated audio plan to grow its audience. John commences April 13.
