Leighton Archer has resigned as host of The Classic Breakfast on 2CA for a homecoming to Sydney to join the Australian Traffic Network (ATN). Leighton has spent 6 years in Canberra and had about as many roles at 2CA. He told radioinfo “It’s the end of an era for me. I hosted every daypart from sunrise to sunset and had a good crack at PD, APD, MD and AMD in that time. I can’t wait to be a part of the ATN team again, spend quality time with my extended family and re-connect with my Sydney mates.” Leighton’s final 2CA breakfast show will air Friday November 30 and he starts with ATN on December 17.
