Mike Cass has been appointed to the position of Assistant Group Program Director for the Nova Network. He will take up this new role in conjunction with his current position as Program Director for Nova 100 in Melbourne.
Mike joined dmg Radio Australia as Nova 937 Perth’s Program Director in February 2011 before moving to Melbourne to become Program Director for Nova 100 on 15 August 2011. In a 20 year radio career, Mike worked at Galaxy 101 as Deputy Program Controller and Head of Music in September 1997 before being promoted to Program Director for Galaxy 105-106 in North East England in June 2000. Over the next five years he was Program Director for all seven of Galaxy UK’s radio stations. In August 2005 Mike held the position of Group Program Director for Galaxy and Choice Group for five years.
