The winner of the first scholarship is Ben Erbsland from community station Fresh 92.7 – Ben is 24 years old and is part of the Friday breakfast team on Fresh.
Sean Craig Murphy told radioinfo; He’s a gun… edgy but with the ability to show great warmth and tell a really good story; lashings of potential.
We’re awarding a scholarship to different groups for every course we do. This scholarship was open to Fresh members.
The scholarship means the student gets the entire course free.
BTW…demand for the first course Mel Greig and I are taking was so overwhelming that we’ve decided to run two courses simultaneously. One on Monday nights and one on Tuesday nights… and we’ve still got 30 people on the waiting list for the next course/s starting on August 30!
